As an instance grows, it becomes increasingly challenging to monitor and maintain visibility of what has been developed and what is currently being developed. The Instance Inventory feature is designed to address this issue.
This functionality is particularly effective when applied to installed base implementations, giving teams insight into existing code and helping prevent the creation of new code that could have unintended consequences.
To keep the inventory focused on the most important aspects and to minimize noise, 20 classes have been selected as the most relevant:
- Access Control (sys_security_acl)
- Assignment Rule (sysrule_assignment)
- Business Rule (sys_script)
- Client Script (sys_script_client)
- Data Policy (sys_data_policy2)
- Dictionary Entry (sys_dictionary)
- Fix Script (sys_script_fix)
- Inbound Email Actions (sysevent_in_email_action)
- Notification (sysevent_email_action)
- Portal (sp_portal)
- Role (sys_user_role)
- Script Include (sys_script_include)
